From the Principal
Nyora Primary School strives to provide a safe and happy learning environment where all students are provided with the opportunity to achieve to their full potential. Developing strong partnerships between students, staff, parents and the wider community is the key to ensuring that Nyora Primary School can deliver quality teaching and learning programs for the children and families of the Nyora community and surrounding districts.
Nyora Primary School has spacious, modern learning areas in extensive shady grounds. We offer contemporary learning with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy learning using evidence-based, high impact teaching strategies crafted for the needs and interests of our children. Developing a well-balanced individual is important to us so we provide opportunities for children to develop leadership, problem-solving and collaboration skills through our extra-curricular programs in Library, Environmental Science, Technology and Coding, Physical Education, Art, Mandarin and Performing Arts. With small class sizes we offer relevant, flexible and engaging curriculum designed around each child – not one-size-fits-all programs.
Nyora Primary is proud to take its place as a member of the wider community. Our commitment is to reinforce our community values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
Please come and see for yourself what Nyora Primary School has to offer and call to arrange a school tour. We look forward to meeting you, welcoming your family into our School Community and showing you our beautiful school grounds.
